Expatico is a corporate services firm specializing in end-to-end corporate trip management. The brand offers comprehensive solutions, from booking flights and accommodations to managing expenses and consulting on travel policies for startups, entrepreneurs, and business leaders.

Expatico was built to fix what others got wrong: confusing processes, hidden costs, and a lack of trust. “Travel Made Easy” captures Expatico's commitment to making corporate travel simple, honest, and cost effective for the modern business leader.

The Problem
Despite offering professional services to high-level clients, Expatico’s original branding fell short of conveying credibility and maturity. The logo featured playful travel icons embedded within a large “e” mark, which gave off a juvenile and unfocused impression.
This didn’t resonate with the brand's business-oriented clientele and undermined trust in the brand’s capabilities. As a result, they needed a refreshed brand identity that aligned with their maturing vision. I was tasked with updating their logo to better reflect their professional focus, eliminating the overly playful aesthetic. I also developed a clean and consistent stationery suite (business card and letterhead) and a comprehensive logo guide to support future use.
This didn’t resonate with the brand's business-oriented clientele and undermined trust in the brand’s capabilities. As a result, they needed a refreshed brand identity that aligned with their maturing vision. I was tasked with updating their logo to better reflect their professional focus, eliminating the overly playful aesthetic. I also developed a clean and consistent stationery suite (business card and letterhead) and a comprehensive logo guide to support future use.




Solution
The solution redefined Expatico’s visual language by stripping away unnecessary elements and embedding purposeful symbolism. The refreshed logo, complemented by a streamlined stationery system and comprehensive usage guidelines, positions the brand with refined professionalism and strategic clarity.
The redesign focused on elevating Expatico’s brand maturity and clarity while maintaining its unique identity. The original logo’s cluttered icons were removed to eliminate distractions and establish a cleaner, more versatile mark. A subtle plane silhouette was introduced within the negative space of the “X,” offering an intelligent reference to the brand’s travel roots without overt literalism. This visual nuance adds depth and sophistication to the logo. Additionally, the mark was carefully shaped to suggest a stylized “E,” reinforcing brand recognition in a minimalistic manner.
