Brief
Design visual communications for the Design Matters Lecture Series, a flagship public lecture series by the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape - University Of Calgary, bringing global designers and thought leaders to Calgary.
Deliverables needed to promote events across digital, print, and in-person environments while maintaining consistency within the University of Calgary brand system.

Concept
A bold 3D wordmark anchors the visual system, expressing depth, dialogue, and progression in design thinking. The consistent typographic form creates strong recognition across the series, while a modular layout allows event details to adapt across formats and speakers.

Assets
A cohesive set of assets was developed across print, digital, and environmental formats, including posters, speaker graphics, wayfinding signages, banners, motion intros, and event photography, forming a flexible and unified system.
This established a consistent visual language across the series, improved clarity of communication, and created a scalable framework adaptable for future lectures.
